Well, one of my New Year's resolutions was to start featuring some of my favourite deviations in my journal in a monthly feature. It's taken me a while to actually get around to starting it, clearly, but I thought that now all my favs have been deleted, now would be a good time to start.

I really love sci-fi art like this. I grew up poring over Ralph McQuarrie's matte paintings and production paintings for the original Star Wars movies. One day I'd love to get some prints of pictures like these and hang them on my wall. I find them inspirational, they really fire my imagination and, as a writer, I'm always on the look out for things that do that.

:bow: thank you!! You know what would be really cool- if you could write something, a bit of prose or a poem, based off these images that you found inspiring(and then link them to the images in these journals).

It would be really sweet to see how you have interpreted our visuals and better still, I think it would offer some inspiration back to the original artists as well. cheers!
